A very kind Thor (2011) fan and translator by name of Anna (ssora on LJ) has translated my fanfic, "Paper Planes & Playground Games" into Russian. To say I'm thrilled is to severely understate the matter! I'm still reeling a bit from her first message asking to translate it, and to be honest, the whole thing is very dreamlike. To have something I've written, and particularly something I loved writing so much, translated into another language that more fans might read it is such an incredible honor (and one I'm not entirely certain I deserve!).

If you read Russian or if you're simply curious, you can read Anna's translation of "Paper Planes & Playground Games" in one of two places, here at Anna's primary blog or here at her livejournal.

The work she has put into this is both remarkable and very evident, and I am so, so grateful to her for all of it. My only regret is that I cannot read her translation; still, knowing it exists is more than enough to have brightened every day since she linked me to the finished translation. Please do check it out, and if you can read her translation and if you enjoy the work, please do take a moment to thank her for her work and credit her accordingly.

Thank you so much both to Anna and to all of you who have enjoyed this story. Thank you. ♥

Title: Yggdrasill Dreaming
Fandom: Thor (2011)
Challenge: het_bigbang (Sif/Loki)
Warnings: Violence, language, mild sexual content.
Summary: The Bifröst is broken and the roads between the worlds are lost; so, too, is the treacherous king Loki lost. Yet in Sif's dreams a shadow walks, and it wears the face of Loki Odinson. Is she going mad, or does Loki yet live? If he does live, then how is she to find him? Through dreams, through memory, Sif seeks Loki. (76,672 words.)

I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Rawles, who, though she'd her own big bang to write, found time enough to beta read this monster. Without her grammatical know-how and some needed advice re: the ending, this fic would be much the poorer. Thanks are also due in profusion to Phee, one of my favorite artists and an artist whose work always delights, without fail. That she agreed to illustrate this is still astounding to me; at times when I doubted I would ever finish this, I would think of her work and find the motivation to push through.

As well, thanks to those who cheered me on as I worked on the first draft; your support means the world to me. And thank you, reader, for reading. :)

Please note that this work does not draw on the comics at all. I've no interest whatsoever in the Marvel universe's interpretation of Ragnarok, so if you're looking for it here, you won't find it. And on a grammatical note, I've opted to use the word "æsir," which is plural, also in the singular, as the proper singular ("áss") is rather ... unfortunate. My apologies for that particular error.

I think that's about it! If you've any questions, please ask them here. :)
